It is rigid in construction, capable of withstanding different environmental conditions and are of weather proof/dust proof design. The patented precise load safety system is enclosed in a sturdy and robust steel housing and is assembled in stages for easy maintenance.

Operation

Rotary motion is transmitted to linear motion through an overload safety system which actuates the hard chrome plated ram in axial direction. The movement of ram is discontinued by arresting the movement in both the directions to prime mover through load safety system. The load safety system is very sensitive and disconnects the supply immediately, if external load exceeds the preset limit.

Starting To End Stroke:

The Actuators are normally operated between start to end position of ram so that the corresponding thrust limit switch disconnects the supply to the motor. The load on the ram creates a breaking moment to prevent the movement of the ram.

Intermediate Position Switch:

Intermediate limit switch in linear Actuators can be used to stop the ram at any intermediate position during the full stroke by selection.

Manual Operation During Power Failure:

In case of power failure declutchable hand wheel arrangement with electrical interlocking can be mounted at the non-driving end of the motor or may be incorporated at the driving end of the motor where electrical interlocking is not necessary.
