Damper!
Damper!
“PREPEC Louver Damper Model – PDL are compact and self contained unit.”
It has dependable and long operational life. It is used for flow control as well as isolation purpose. It is available from twin louver to multi louver of n nos, depending on the size of the Damper.
The range and types of Dampers are:
Butterfly Damper
The butterfly damper is a compact and efficient flow control device used in ducts and pipelines to regulate or isolate the flow of air, gas, or flue gases. It consists of a circular disc mounted on a central shaft that rotates to control flow from fully open to fully closed positions. Designed for quick response and minimal pressure loss, butterfly dampers are fabricated from robust steel and provided with corrosion-resistant coatings for long service life.
Guillotine Damper
A guillotine damper is a heavy-duty isolation device used in ducts and process lines to provide tight shut-off of gas, air, or dust-laden flow. It consists of a flat blade (gate) that moves vertically or horizontally within a robust frame, similar to the action of a guillotine, to open or completely block the flow passage. The damper is typically operated by a manual, electric, or pneumatic actuator and is guided by side tracks to ensure smooth and accurate movement.
Multi-Louver Damper
A multi-louver damper is a flow control device used in ducts and air handling systems to regulate, balance, or shut off the flow of air or gases. It consists of multiple parallel blades (louvers) mounted within a rigid frame, which rotate simultaneously through a common linkage mechanism. By adjusting the blade angle, the damper provides smooth and precise control over airflow with relatively low pressure drop.
Zero Leakage Damper
A zero leakage damper is a precision-engineered flow control device designed to provide complete shut-off of air or gas flow when in the closed position. It incorporates specially machined blades, tight clearances, and resilient or metal-to-metal sealing arrangements to ensure no measurable leakage across the damper.
